FAQ'S
What concerns do you support?
We work with adults navigating trauma and PTSD, addiction and recovery, OCD and anxiety, grief, perfectionism, family-of-origin dynamics, and relationship or interpersonal challenges.
How does group therapy work at your practice?
Groups are small, confidential, and facilitated by skilled clinicians. Members meet weekly to practice new relational patterns, receive real-time feedback, and build skills for regulation and connection. We’ll help match you to a group that fits your goals and schedule.
Is therapy at DTOFH confidential and discreet?
Yes. We follow HIPAA standards, use secure platforms for telehealth and records, and keep groups closed to enrolled members only. Your privacy is prioritized from first contact through ongoing care.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
Group therapy can help if you feel stuck repeating patterns in relationships, want compassionate feedback in a safe setting, or are seeking connection while working on trauma, OCD, or recovery. A brief consult clarifies fit, goals, and next steps.
What happens in the first appointment or consult?
We’ll talk through your goals, history, and preferences, answer questions, and outline a plan—individual therapy, group therapy, or a blended approach. There’s no pressure to commit; the aim is clarity and comfort.
What are your fees, scheduling, and cancellation policies?
Rates vary by clinician and service type. Sessions are by appointment, with weekly time slots for most groups. We require advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling; late cancellations or no-shows may be billed. Current details are provided before you begin.
